A mother who posed naked for a 14-year-old boy after having sex with him has been cleared of abuse.

The 46-year-old from Croydon, South London, was accused of forcing the teenager to have sex with her on three separate occasions, as well as posing for explicit pictures, according to the Croydon Guardian.

Amanda Lockhart sobbed "thank you" and left the Old Bailey in tears after the jury acquitted her of all charges. Although Ms Lockhart admitted to having sex with the boy, she told the jury she believed he was 17 after he had shown her his passport, the Daily Mail reported.

The Croydon Guardian said that Ms Lockhart informed the court the teenager attempted to blackmail her for £500 after revealing his real age.

She also added the teenager initiated the proceedings squeezing her so hard she “yelped”.

Ms Lockhart claimed: "He started doing it with me and that was it. I never threatened him. I was always really nice to him", the Daily Mirror reported.

Prosecutors had claimed she had groomed the teenager for weeks before forcing him to have sex with her.

The jury found Ms Lockhart not guilty of five counts of engaging a child in sexual activity.
