A woman in Oklahoma has pleaded guilty to a charge of lewdness after being caught by a drone camera having sex with an elderly client.

Amanda Zolicoffer, 27, and Douglas Blansett, 75, were caught by local "drone vigilante" Brian Bates when they met in a car last August.

Mr Bates told the BBC it was the first time he used a drone to film such an encounter. He runs a website where he publishes videos of alleged sex workers and their clients.

He posted a video of the sting on YouTube.

"I'm sort of known in the Oklahoma City area," Mr Bates told the broadcaster.

"For the last 20 years I've used a video camera to document street-level and forced prostitution, and human trafficking."

Zolicoffer was sentenced to a year in state prison, according to the BBC, while the case against her alleged client is still pending. He was released following arrest in December.
