NEXT WEEK sees the launch of Contemporary Art, a new quarterly magazine devoted to modern British art. Independent readers are offered a reduced-price subscription to the magazine and an invitation to either of the launch parties, one of which takes place at the Edinburgh Contemporary Art Fair on 21 August. The London launch is at the Benjamin Rhodes Gallery on 10 September. The next issue will deal with aspects of British abstraction.
