Art meets film...meets cafes, restaurants and clubs?

Artist Mario Rossi’s delicate watercolour depictions of cafes and restaurants emblazoned with the names of famous films are being exhibited at the Cornerhouse in Manchester as part of the Abandon Normal Devices festival.

Around 50 works, including the Apocalypse Now nightclub and the African Queen restaurant, part of Rossi's Thief of Baghdad series, are available for the public to view until 9 January 2011.
