NEARLY 70 per cent of Britain's women architects believe they have been disadvantaged at work because of their sex, according to a report by the Women Architects Committee of the Royal Institute of British Architects. This, however, has not affected the number of women entering architecture school. Women currently make up just 9 per cent of the profession, compared with 27 per cent of solicitors and 15 per cent of doctors. This year, 27 per cent of new entrants to architecture school are women.
