Show all 11Light is imitating art at London's Hayward Gallery with a series of illuminating sculptures.
The gallery at London's South Bank has gathered a collection of works which are said to be the first survey of "light-based art" in the UK, including some pieces which have not been seen for decades.
Light Show, which includes 25 pieces dating from the 1960s to the present day, opens to the public tomorrow.
Among them will be an installation by Olafur Eliasson which features 27 fountains illuminated by strobe lights - never before seen in the UK - and another by Leo Villareal which is made up of 19,600 computer-controlled LEDs built into a tower.
