Knees-up at Tate's 10th

Some of the less enthused visitors to the Tate Modern might be relieved to stumble upon the haven of this pub, complete with bar and piano, as they make their way round the London art gallery.

But they will be in for a surprise – this traditional boozer is actually an art installation, celebrating the Tate's 10th anniversary. It is the work of the art collective Black Dogs, who hope to recreate the atmosphere of a typical Leeds pub.

Unfortunately for thirsty visitors, it does not sell alcohol. The "pub" is one of 70 art installations at Tate Modern, which is hosting "No Soul For Sale – A Festival of Independents".
