Magnum exhibition has a taste for life

An extrodinary set of photographs will be showcased at Liberty's, with never before displayed photos from the world renowned photo agency Magnum.

The exhibit titled “A Taste of Life” takes images from around the world that capture pivotal emotional moments to illustrate life’s intensity. Our reactions and feelings to events like the US Presidential elections are captured, as well as confrontations with nature and danger and fleeting moments of romance.

The exhibit will also feature never before displayed images of Muhammad Ali and Marilyn Monroe as well as images from photographers Eve Arnold and Peter Marlow. Magnum Photos President, Stuart Franklin, who was asked by the makers of Tanqueray gin who are launching the exhibit, to capture his own interpretations of “A Taste for Life” will also be on display.

Alongside Magnum photos will be the winning images from a national photograph competition for photographer’s interpretation of “A Taste for Life”. The winning image from Daniel Clinch of Tunbridge Wells entitled ‘Treading a Fresh Path’ will be on display.
