Weekly art websites: art disguised as life

This week's selection of art websites takes you on a tour of the city, pointing out art that you might miss if you are not looking for it.

A London artist going by the name of Slinkachu creates tiny, hand-painted people and leaves them on the street to be found (or discarded) by the people who walk past. His "little people" installations see miniature personages rowing in a pool of milk left by a discarded milk carton, worshipping Coke-can cathedrals or bathing in a bottle-top jacuzzi.

The 6emeia project is a collaboration between Anderson Augusto and Leonardo Delafuente - two artists living and working in São Paulo. The duo gives a new meaning to everyday street objects such as storm drains and light posts by painting over them and turning them into artworks.

Swiss artist Felice Varini paints geometric shapes on buildings, streets and urban spaces. The seemingly disjointed fragments of color transform into perfectly formed geometric shapes when the viewer sees the art from the correct vantage point.
