With luck, you will see no sign of the Camorra in Naples.

But, as this torrential narrative reveals, this mainland Mafia is everywhere. From the export of cadavers to selling weaponry as large as tanks, from the disposal of toxic waste to the construction of the "largest illegal urban complex in the West", it is ceaselessly active. In a book packed with murder and beatings, Saviano names names and points to the bodies. So how did he manage to write it and still be on the streets? He didn't. Under constant police protection, he was unable to visit the UK to promote this explosion of a book. Naples will never be the same
