Disney's big summer hit The Lion King was dethroned this week in the US by Forrest Gump, Robert Zemeckis's Zelig-style whimsical comedy, starring Tom Hanks (right) in his first role since bagging an Oscar for Philadelphia. In London and across the UK, Four Weddings and a Funeral enjoys probably its penultimate week at the top before the arrival of The Flintstones on 22 July.
