Similarly smeared glissandi characterise Greenwood's Popcorn Superhet Receiver. The melancholy mood pervades throughout, into the itchy, insect flurries of Penderecki's Polymorphia, for 48 strings, and Greenwood's 48 Responses To Polymorphia.
