MOVE @ ministry of sound

Move offers everyone a slice of something tasty - funky house, uplifting anthems, rare grooves, breakbeats, and all from a host of great spinners.

The crowd here flit from one room to another like bees collecting pollen. After a sticky start, even "The Box" has found an audience and is often home to much of the event's most creative DJing.

Deep Dish's residency kept the main room rammed a couple of weeks back - but any Friday you care to choose will provide you with innovative mixing and a myriad of musical styles.

When it's time to roll out the barrel, few places do it better than MoS. This summer, those of London's clubbing community who aren't holidaying in the sun seem determined to keep pace with all the Brits abroad. Let's face it, there's no other reason for being in Elephant & Castle on a Friday night.

Fridays, 103 Gaunt Street, London SE1 (0171-378 6528) 10.30pm-6am, pounds 6/pounds 10.
