MISS MONEYPENNY'S @ the church

It's hard to imagine Miss Moneypenny's without thinking of Bond's the venue, but it's happened. It transpires that the owner of Bond's didn't share the same ambitions as Moneypenny's promoters Dermot, Mick and Jim "Shaft" Ryan. The long-term plan is to buy a venue of their own but for now they've found a gem in The Church. The converted place of worship holds twice as many revellers as Bonds but the night has lost none of its style, exclusivity and glamour with John Kelly, Jim "Shaft" Ryan and Kiddo doing the business on the Technics, pumping out uplifting anthems and house classics. The beautiful and the bold flock to Moneypenny's because few other promoters generate such a feeling of sumptuous debauchery.

If you enjoy clubbing in your favourite pair of trainers and an old reliable pair of jeans, forget it! Dressing to impress is the only way to get past the all-seeing fashion police at Moneypenny's - but the good news is that the increased capacity gives you twice as much chance to gain entry.

THE BEACH FESTIVAL @ st austell

Still two days left to check out The Beach Festival in Cornwall. The Megadog collective must have planned this gig with Mother Nature - it could be the first festival since Creamfields to enjoy real sunshine. If the fact that it's on a beach isn't enough incentive to visit, then join 10,000 revellers enjoying 808 State, Akasha, Asian Dub Foundation, Freestylers and a host of other bands, DJs and cabaret performers.

Today and tomorrow, St Austell (ticket information: 0115 912 9180/0161- 832 1111/ 0990 344 4444). Shuttle bus runs from St Austell BR station and on-site camp. Site closes 1pm Monday, pounds 60.

CLUB YOYO @ villa stefano

Dedicated to R'n'B flavas, YoYo draws a cosmopolitan group of well-heeled revellers who aren't afraid to hit the dance floor. This gig has been running for many moons but, checking it out for the first time, you can't help feeling that you've discovered something new. Ronnie Herel and JP give ample assistance on the Technics on a night that will provide plenty of fine memories for Sunday. If you're not on first-name terms with the doormen, don't arrive late - Holborn isn't the most exciting place to queue for hours.
