Twice As Nice throw a big party to launch their new album tomorrow night. If it's half as good as their recent birthday gig then this is definitely one to visit.

Radio 1 continue to send their DJs on the road to spread the word. The latest spinner to charge up the motorway is Trevor Nelson. Among others, his Rhythm Nation Club Tour 1998 (call 0171-765 2627 to find out the exact when and where's) hits Middlesbrough, Cardiff, Swindon, Southsea and Ipswich before heading back to Bournemouth on New Year's Eve.

Ministry of Sound are planning to cast their net a little further afield this autumn. Their mission to colonise the world continues with gigs scheduled in Columbia, Australasia, Brussels and Egypt. The Nile, for centuries the playground of Pharaohs and heads of state, will no longer provide the backdrop for MoS's latest extravaganza, 8th Wonder of the World.

The line up for the forthcoming Tony De Vit Memorial Gig (29 Nov @ Pulse, Birmingham) has been confirmed. As you'd expect, many top spinners will be paying their respect; Judge Jules and Boy George feature with support from Gordon Kaye, Steve Thomas, Ian M, Andy Farley, Steve Lawler and Chad Lewis. All proceeds go to charities ABPlus, and Hansel Support & Manor Oak Residential Services. Telephone (0870 90 20 001) for more information and tickets.
