It's hard to imagine Miss Moneypenny's without thinking of the venue Bonds, but this clubbing institution seems to be revelling in its new location. The long-term plan is to buy a venue of its own, but in the meantime it has found a gem in The Church. The converted place of worship holds twice as many as Bonds, but the night has lost none of its exclusivity and glamour. Vicars who used to preach here will probably be a little disturbed, but clubbers will love the uplifting anthems and house classics.

The beautiful and the bold flock here because few other promotions generate such a feeling of sumptuous debauchery. Scores of hedonists from across the country still brave the carnage of Birmingham's orbital traffic for the chance to join the party.

If you enjoy clubbing in trainers and jeans, forget it! Dressing to impress is the only way to pass the all- seeing fashion police at Moneypenny's. The good news is that the increased capacity gives you twice as much chance to gain entry.

Tonight, Hurst Street, Birmingham (0121-454 9560) 9.30pm-2am, pounds 10 members/pounds 12 non-members
