This is the world-famous main company of Nederlands Dans Theater: back in London for the first time in 24 years. Jiri Kylian, their charismatic director, was just a promising young choreographer at that last visit. Soon afterwards he was given the top job and has presided over the growth of the company into a three-part venture in demand everywhere, both for beautiful dancing and for a repertoire led by the highly original works of Kylian himself and his fellow-choreographer Hans van Manen. Both of whom will show ballets new to London, including Kylian's powerful staging of the Stravinsky Symphony of Psalms. Also coming, as part of their policy of encouraging young hopefuls, is a new piece by Paul Lightfoot, an English dancer in the company. Four performances only, so act quickly to get a ticket.
