The fiendishly difficult Christmas quiz seems to have defeated our readers. Although the Christmas Details had plenty of punters this year (the results and winners were given last week), the general knowledge questions bred no outright winners. In this case, both sets of the World Book enclyclopedia will be donated to inner-city schools. The answers, under their separate headings, are listed below.
