An independent 3D animated film,
Alpha and Omega, to be released September 17, will feature the voice of Hollywood legend, the late Dennis Hopper. The star of a couple hundred diverse films such as
Easy Rider,
Blue Velvet,
Apocalypse Now, and
Super Mario Bros, he also provided the voice of a wolf named Tony in this family comedy.
The film follows a pair of mismatched young wolves who bond when transplanted to Idaho from Canada in an effort to repopulate the species.
Hopper joins the voice talents of Hayden Panettiere ( Heroes), Justin Long ( Alvin and the Chipmunks: the Squeakquel) Christina Ricci ( Speed Racer), and Danny Glover ( 2012).
