Three teaser trailers have been released for the computer animated feature, Despicable Me, showing amusing moments though revealing little about this 3D movie. Now, a 2:42 minute trailer offers a more comprehensive glimpse of the characters, storyline, inventive design, and comedy style of the upcoming film, releasing in the US July 9.

Surrounded by an army of energetic little yellow minions, bad guy Gru plans his biggest heist ever - to steal the moon. Gru delights in all things wicked and suffers no one who stands in his way - until he encounters three little orphaned girls who change his game plan. Meanwhile, he faces his archenemy, the new number-one villain in the world.

Directed by animators Pierre Coffin and Chris Renaud (Ice Age, Horton Hears a Who!) the look and humor set the film apart.

The Dracula-like Gru is voiced by Steve Carell ( Get Smart, The Office), while the film also features the voices of Russell Brand ( Forgetting Sarah Marshall), Kristin Wiig ( How to Train Your Dragon), and Julie Andrews. Music is by Pharrell and Hans Zimmer.
