As rumors about sequels and reboots surface about Independence Day, Godzilla and Baywatch, news that last summer's surprise comedy hit The Hangover will be coming back was confirmed.
The original cast of Bradley Cooper ( Valentine's Day), Ed Helms ( Monsters vs. Aliens), Justin Bartha ( New York, I Love You), and Zach Galifianakis ( Up in the Air), will rejoin director Todd Phillips for a second installment of the zany adventure.
Last year there were no plans to create a franchise, but based on the $467.3 million success at the box office worldwide, the actors, relative unknowns at the time, were signed on again with a considerably larger fee.
The story centers on three groomsmen who lose the groom-to-be during a drunken night out and must find him before the wedding.
Production is scheduled in October for a release in May 2011. This version may not be in set in Las Vegas.
