Seth MacFarlane's run of highlighting through jokes the Hollywood secrets no-one else would acknowledge continues this morning, as a Family Guy episode resurfaces that takes a jab at Brett Rather.

It's not as direct as the Kevin Spacey Family Guy joke and MacFarlane's gag at the Oscars, but alludes to seediness on Ratner's part, the scene in question seeing him bid at a female slave auction.

On Wednesday, Ratner was accused of sexual harassment or misconduct by six women in the Los Angeles Times.

Family Guy joking about him is slightly unusual too given he is not really a household name but an industry figure, the producer of X-Men: The Last Stand, The Revenant, Horrible Bosses and more.

"A special prosecutor should be assigned to go through all Family Guy episodes and investigate anyone who got slammed by the show for despicable behavior," a Redditor quipped.

Warner Bros and Ratner have decided to part ways in the wake of the sexual harassment claims levied against him.

The news, reported by THR, follows a statement issued by the producer in which he responded to sexual misconduct claims made by six women, including actresses Olivia Munn and Natasha Henstridge.

“In light of the allegations being made, I am choosing to personally step away from all Warner Bros.-related activities,” he said. “I don’t want to have any possible negative impact to the studio until these personal issues are resolved.”
