Cara Delevingne looks set to cause all sorts of mischief in upcoming thriller Paper Towns, if the latest teaser clip is anything to go by.

The British supermodel stars alongside Nat Wolff in the big screen adaptation of the popular novel by John Green, who also wrote recent box office smash, The Fault in Our Stars.

Delevingne plays Margo Roth Spiegelman in the film, a mystery-loving girl who goes missing after leading her neighbour Quentin on an all-night adventure through their hometown. Cue a crazy road trip lead by Quentin and his friends to find her, while growing in understanding about true friendship and true love along the way.

The new video sees Margo and Quentin break into a house to play a revengeful prank on “scumbag” Chuck, namely removing his eyebrows as he sleeps – ouch.

This role lets Delevingne proves she’s about more than catwalks and glamour, as she jumps a car bonnet in her jeans and T-shirt during a dramatic get-away when Chuck wakes up.

“Look at us – we’re ninjas!” she shouts, before raving about how alive adrenalin can make you feel.

Jake Schreier has directed this sure-fire teen hit, scheduled to reach UK cinemas on 21 August.

Delevingne has been busy carving an acting career for herself recently and can currently be seen in her first major role as student Melanie in The Face of an Angel, based on the Meredith Kercher murder case.

The 22-year-old will also play Enchantress in David Ayer’s Suicide Squad supervillain movie, not due out until August next year.
