Odeon will return Labyrinth to UK cinemas screens in honour of the late David Bowie.
Screening Tuesday 19 January, proceeds raised will be donated by the cinema chain to Cancer Research UK. In a released statement, Odeon commercial director Andy Edge stated; "David Bowie had a glittering career and gave us decades of entertainment. We are honoured to celebrate his work with these special charity screenings. We hope as many guests as possible will join us to enjoy Labyrinth and help raise money for a fantastic cause."
The screenings will take place in Birmingham, Cardiff, Gateshead, Kingston, Liverpool, Manchester, Norwich, and Southampton. Tickets are available to purchase from the chain's website.
Directed by Muppets-creator Jim Henson, the 1986 fantasy stars Jennifer Connelly as a young girl tasked with navigating the eponymous labyrinth of the Goblin King Jareth (Bowie), or risk her infant half-brother turning into a goblin after thirteen hours have passed.
