Could the new teaser be hinting at the return of the Master?

A new teaser trailer for the forthcoming series of Doctor Who has been released.
The 15-second clip features Peter Capaldi's twelfth Time Lord sat crossed-legged on top of the Tardis as it floats through space, with the Earth and the Sun in the background.
The Doctor appears to be meditating but as the camera zooms in closer, his eyes suddenly open and he says “listen!” before the trailer ends.

As each day goes by the hype surrounding the new series of Doctor Who gets ramped up another notch and the latest tease is no different.
While it doesn’t give anything away, it may convince fans to pay closer attention to what they can hear.
Other fans have speculated that “listen” is a reference to the Doctor’s arch-nemesis the Master and the drum beat that he was implanted in his mind by the Time Lords.
The Master last made an appearance in The End of Time and was portrayed by John Simm. There have been rumours that the villainous Time Lord could be returning, with a new actor taking on the role as a newly regenerated incarnation of the characrer.
One of the adventures in series eight will feature the Doctor and Clara going to Lanzarote. The Doctor has not been there since 1984 in the ‘Planet of Fire’' serial where he encountered the Master, and it could potentially be where the two adversaries meet again in 2014.
In amongst the hype, a rough cut of the first episode of the new series ‘Deep Breath’ was leaked online a couple of weeks ago, along with five Doctor Who scripts and BBC documents. Yet the leaks have not dampened fans’ enthusiasm.
Two screenings of ‘Deep Breath’ will be shown in London and Cardiff on the 7 August, with tickets being allocated by ballot due to high demand.
The showings come nearly three weeks before the episode will be globally simulcast on Saturday 23 August.
