Harry Potter is casting a spell once more over the world.

With J.K. Rowling's new stage production Harry Potter and the Cursed Child currently running previews, we all inch closer and closer to the debut of a new film in the Potter universe; Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Admittedly, Warner Bros. has kept the buzz fairly low this early ahead of its release, but you can guarantee once the wintry air brings its holiday spirits upon the world, we'll all be quite thoroughly entranced.

For now, we've been offered a deeper glimpse into the world of Eddie Redmayne's young wizard Newt Scamander; who arrives in 1920s New York with a sense of adventure in his heart, and an obsession with magical creatures.

The film also stars Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Samantha Morton, Jon Voight, Ron Perlman, Carmen Ejogo, Jenn Murray, Faith Wood-Blagrove and Colin Farrell.

The new featurette teases a host of surprises; from Newt's Mary Poppins-like suitcase to the various charming new creatures inhabiting his world, all elements that help develop the Wizarding World and push it towards new frontiers.

Marking J.K. Rowling's screenplay debut, the film is the first of a planned trilogy; with Pottermore's new writing by the author revealing the rich, textured world of the American Hogwarts, Ilvermorny.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them hits UK cinemas 18 November.
