The 82nd Academy Awards will be hosted by Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin, a press release from oscars.org announced.
"I am happy to co-host the Oscars with my enemy Alec Baldwin," said Martin, who previously hosted the 73rd and 75th awards and earned an Emmy nomination for the former. He is currently touring with the bluegrass band Steep Canyon Rangers for his latest album The Crow: New Songs for the Five String Banjo.
"I don't play the banjo but I'm thrilled to be hosting the Oscars - it's the opportunity of a lifetime," said Baldwin, who was nominated for an Oscar in 2003 for his role in "The Cooler." He now stars in the NBC television sitcom 30 Rock as Jack Donaghy.
The 2010 Academy Awards will take place on Sunday, March 7, 2010.
