Following the monumental success of The Force Awakens and the renewed interest in Star Wars, excitement for Rogue One is very, very high.

As the spin-off’s release approaches, more and more information is reaching the internet, about both new and returning characters.

Thanks to the latest episode of The Star Wars Show, we have our first look at the R2-D2-esque droid C2-B5, an imperial droid. Due to this, the memory of the unit is continually wiped, while the colour is appropriately darker compared to Rebel droids.

How C2-B5 will feature in the film is unknown, but don’t expect a major role. Another new minor character was revealed earlier this year at the San Deigo Comic Con, called Edrio Two Tubes, sharing aesthetics with the galaxy’s most feared villain, Darth Vader.

Meanwhile, some of the latest Rogue One toys were revealed by an adorable stop-motion fan video, the first part in a four-part series.

Rogue One hits cinemas this December.
