Steve Jobs is given a far from flattering portrayal in Danny Boyle’s upcoming biopic about the late Apple CEO judging by the film’s first official trailer.

Starring Michael Fassbender as Jobs, the film follows the technology entrepreneur during the launches of three Apple products, ending in 1998 with the unveiling of the iMac.

Seth Rogen stars as fellow Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, whom Jobs often fell out with, while Kate Winslet plays former marketing chief Joanna Hoffman, who is seen arguing with a belligerent Jobs in the trailer.

The film also appears to focus heavily on Jobs’ personal life, with Katherine Waterston starring as Jobs’ ex-partner and father of his daughter, who he accuses of having an affair with another man.

Directed by Boyle and written by Aaron Sorkin, the biopic is adapted from Walter Isaacson’s best-selling biography of the Apple founder.

Steve Jobs is released in the UK on 13 November.
