Terminator Genisys trailer: Arnold Schwarzenegger says 'I'll be back', commits suicide

The Terminator is back and it has everything to do with saving Earth and nothing to do with big sacks of money

The trailer for Terminator Genisys is here, and don't worry, Arnold Schwarzenegger says that thing he always says.

After a brief sojourn in politics Arnie is back to doing what he does best, walking calmly away from explosions and firing more bullets than is strictly necessary.

The trailer takes a long time to get to the T-800 money shot though, first you have to sit through a load of time travel mumbo jumbo and awful pre-apocalyptic battle dialogue like "If we die tonight, mankind dies with us." Eeesh.

Sarah Connor is then introduced (yes, that's Emilia Clarke from Game of Thrones) as we lurch from the future, where everyone shoots guns and lasers all the time, to the past, where everyone shoots guns all the time but lasers not so much.

"I've been waiting for you" Arnie declares, in a feeble attempt at a new catchphrase, though fans get what they came for at the trailer's close, when he says "I'll be back" before taking a glorious swan dive into helicopter blades.

The plot? I don't know, something about going back in time to save your mum and therefore yourself and therefore humanity. Film is out 1 July, 2015.
