The first trailer for The Neon Demon has dropped, and as you would expect from the director of Drive and Only God Forgives, it’s full of luscious visuals and lots of neon-soaked skin.

Elle Fanning stars as a model trying to make it in Hollywood, but chewed up and spat out by the system.

It all looks very Black Swan, except in this movie the downtrodden protagonist fights back.

The Neon Demon sees Winding Refn work with Christina Hendricks once more, though there’s no Ryan Gosling this time.

Keanu Reeves features however, along with Jena Malone.

Winding Refn has something to prove with the film, given that Only God Forgives couldn’t match the huge cult success of Drive.

The Neon Demon bows a Cannes Film Festival this week, but we don’t yet have a release date.
