With production on Marvel's Thor: Ragnarok currently taking place in Australia, it's no surprise that Comic-Con would bring a few revelations on the upcoming film.

The studio has always had a tendency to use the convention as a space to reveal props and costumes from its movies, with this year certainly no different; revealing one of our very first looks at Thor: Ragnarok, and a huge confirmation on a long-rumoured storyline.

That'll be the display of Hulk's gladiator armour from the film which, in one fell swoop, has nicely confirmed the rumoured inclusion of the popular Planet Hulk storyline; the armour seen here being a fairly faithful recreation of what's seen in the source comics.

Planet Hulk sees our hero ejected into space, landing on the planet Sakaar and forced to fight various enemies in gladiatorial battle; if the rest of the rumours are also true, the Hulk will be fighting under the watchful gaze of Jeff Goldblum's Grandmaster.

Thor Ragnarok sees the return of Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo, as well as Jaimie Alexander's Lady Sif. Tessa Thompson joins the cast as Valkyrie, Karl Urban as Skurge, and Cate Blanchett as Hela.

Thor: Ragnarok will hit UK cinemas on July 28, 2017.
