Big-budget "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" and "Land of the Lost" were top of the flops as nominees for Hollywood's Oscars spoof - the Razzies - were revealed here Monday.

A statement from the Golden Raspberry Award Foundation, which organizes the annual salute to the worst of the worst, revealed that both films were heading the pack of turkeys with seven nominations each.

The foundation took aim at "Transformers" director Michael Bay for creating a film which was "over-loud, over-long and uber-stupid."

As well as worst director and worst picture, the film earned nods for worst remake, rip-off or sequel, worst screenplay, worst supporting actress, worst screen couple and worst actress, sex symbol Megan Fox.

Only Will Ferrell comedy "Land of the Lost" - a box office catastrophe which cost an estimated 100 million dollars but earned only 65 million dollars - rivals "Transformers" on the roll call of shame.

Ferrell was nominated for worst actor and worst screen couple while the film itself received nods for worst picture, worst director, worst screenplay, worst remake, rip-off or sequel and worst supporting actor.

"Lame sketch comedy, an uninspired performance from Will Ferrell and an overall failure of the imagination turn 'Land of the Lost' into a lethargic meander through a wilderness of misfiring gags," was how one review summed up the film last year.

Other contenders for worst picture include Disney's "Old Dogs" and action film "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra," derided by Razzies organizers as "the awful 'action-figures-come-to-life 9-Year-Old-Boy-Movie'."

In the acting stakes Sandra Bullock could be on course to make Razzies history after scooping a worst actress nomination for the comedy "All About Steve," a critically panned effort.

The nomination for Bullock could see her win a Razzie on the same weekend she wins an Oscar. The popular actress is regarded as favorite to win an Academy Award on March 7 for her performance in the "The Blind Side" after winning a series of awards season honors in recent weeks.

The winners of the un-coveted Razzies will be announced at an awards ceremony in Hollywood on March 6, a day ahead of the Academy Awards.

Recipients of the Razzies rarely show up to collect their prizes, gold spray-painted plastic gongs in the shape of a raspberry, which organizers say are worth as much as 4.97 dollars.
