A trailer for Paul Walker's last completed film, Brick Mansions, has been released just three months after his tragic death.

The late Fast & Furious actor plays Damien Walker in the District B13 remake, an undercover cop who must defeat a crime lord holding Detroit hostage with a neutron bomb.

Damien drafts in ex-con Lino to help him infiltrate Brick Mansions, a tenement "so dangerous" that a wall has been built around it.

Free-running founder David Belle, who appeared in the original 2004 French thriller, stars as parkour expert Lino whose daredevil skills are highlighted at the beginning of the two-minute trailer.

Expect badass moves, fast cars, dramatic explosions and sky-high levels of testosterone. "Got a plan?" Lino asks Damien before the duo take on a hefty-looking enemy. "Kick his ass and don’t get squashed," is the response.

Director Camille Delamarre made his debut on Brick Mansions after editing Taken 2 and Transporter 3.

US music producer RZA from hip-hop crew Wu-Tang Clan stars as the crime lord, with Colombian actress Catalina Denis also among the cast.

Walker and RZA became firm friends while shooting for Brick Mansions. The rapper wrote a song called "Destiny Bends" in tribute to his "kindred spirit" co-star after Walker died aged 40 in a Los Angeles car crash.

Relativity, the production company behind Brick Mansions, will make a donation to Walker's charity Reach Out Worldwide when the film is released on 25 April this year.

The seventh instalment of Fast & Furious is set to hit cinemas on 10 April 2015, with Walker's character Brian O'Conner due to be "retired" without being killed off.

The actor had already shot roughly half of the footage before his death, but some additional scenes are to be written and filmed to make his departure seem natural.
