This is like a stag night that seems to go on forever, though I realise that that might constitute a recommendation for some. Two brothers (Erik Stolhanske and Paul Soter) leave the US to scatter their grandfather's ashes at the Oktoberfest in Munich, where they stumble on an ancient drinking competition, Beerfest - a kind of international beer Olympics. There they conceive a bitter rivalry with their German cousins, and I'd like to say what follows is a foam-topped, ice-cold laugh-riot. But it's so not. The saddest sight of all is Jürgen Prochnow reduced to making in-jokes about his great role in the 1981 war movie Das Boot.
