Even if, like me, you've never given fashion photographers a moment's thought, you'll be beguiled by this sweet and fascinating documentary about Bill Cunningham, an enigmatic octogenarian who's been snapping New York's best-dressed people for decades.

He's one of the Big Apple's true characters, living in a tiny flat in Carnegie Hall, always travelling by bike, and always choosing freedom over money.
