Two inept lowlifes (Ben Mendelsohn's heroin addict and Scoot McNairy's nervous wreck) rob Ray Liotta's Mob-controlled card game, so Cogan is called in by Richard Jenkins's weary "middle-man" (we never get to see the powers-that-be) to clean up the mess. This brutal, sometimes humorous film pulsates with anger, about the US economy, about a certain kind of man and about isolation.
