“In 25 years, I'm going to be the dictator of an Islamic republic with nuclear capability,” quips Changez to his high-flying corporate colleagues in this overlong but never dull adaptation of Mohsin Hamed's 2007 novel. Riz Ahmed plays the super-bright Pakistani who impresses Kiefer Sutherland's CEO and seems destined for huge financial rewards in the US until 9/11 fundamentally changes his outlook. The drama, which is told mainly in flashback, benefits from a very robust performance from Ahmed.
