Bad fish"; the desperation of a mother searching for her son on the beach; Roy Scheider's upright cop realising "You're gonna need a bigger boat". Steven Spielberg's endlessly re-watchable blockbuster (above) is jam-packed with memorable scenes and a deliciously menacing soundtrack from John Williams, but it's the chemistry between the three mismatched leads – Scheider, Shaw and Richard Dreyfuss – that seal Jaws as a masterpiece.
