If anyone other than Sofia Coppola had made Somewhere, they'd have been accused of ripping off Sofia Coppola.

It features a galvanising young woman, a jaded movie star, a luxury hotel, a press conference, and several digs at foreign pop culture, for all the world as if Lost in Translation had been remade with Stephen Dorff in the Bill Murray role. It does have its own intriguing atmosphere, but Coppola should really get out more.
