Gareth Evans's relentlessly brutal actioner makes most US action films feel like a lollop around Hundred Acre Wood. A group of rookie cops are tasked with raiding a high-rise apartment block in Jakarta, in order to topple the drugs lord on the top floor.
It goes horribly wrong, of course, and it's down to Iko Uwais's resourceful, karate-chopping cop to take on a legion of drug dealers.
