DVD: Toy Story 3, For retail & rental (Walt Disney)

Are the Toy Story films the finest trilogy in cinema history? I'd argue that Pixar's signature cartoons haven't been matched for consistency of quality, or for the way that each episode functions both as a satisfying work in its own right and as a segment of a larger whole.

TS3 isn't just superb as a cartoon, but as a screwball comedy, a coming-of-age drama, a prison thriller, an action movie, and even a spooky horror film.
