Film review: The Last Exorcism: Part II is yet another substandard horror
(15)
Picking up from where the first, er, Last Exorcism left off, this substandard horror continues to put hapless teenager Nell (Ashley Bell) through the torments of diabolic possession.
Plagued by flashbacks to her exorcism, Nell is trying to rebuild her life in New Orleans, but the pursuing demon – "Abalam" – keeps in touch via telephone, radio, apparitions and even her own roommate.
It's like being stalked, except this time you can't blame Facebook. The frights, such as they are, come just when you most expect them.
