Achingly sincere but clumsy melodrama on the savage enmity that tore apart India after the Second World War.

Jimi Mistry plays Gian, an honourable Sikh who fights for the British Army, returns home in search of peace and finds partition instead. If feeling alone were the benchmark of great art, Vic Sarin's film would be considerable, but the screenplay is desperately poor and the direction leaden.
