Someone Else (15)
Imagine devising a comic scenario about London couples in romantic difficulties, but instead of hiring Richard Curtis to write the screenplay you got, say, John Prescott instead. The result would play something like this. Col Spector's debut feature starts out with would-be lothario Stephen Mangan two-timing his steady girlfriend (Susan Lynch), dumping her and then falling flat on his face when the "someone else" in his life (Lara Belmont) rejects him.
The press blurb suggests that male viewers will see this and wonder "how someone got inside your head to find this stuff out..." I don't think so, unless by "this stuff" they mean acting like a dick and feeling sorry for yourself when you get found out.
