Jason Biggs is always the nerdy romantic loser, but his opening 10 minutes pushes humiliation way beyond the call of comedy. Arriving at a restaurant to surprise his girlfriend with a marriage proposal, wearing nothing but spangly briefs and Cupid wings, Biggs recites a poem - and the poor girl drops dead from a heart attack. On a whim, he proposes to waitress Isla Fisher, she accepts and the dismal formalities of the modern sex comedy crank into action. Biggs and Fisher aren't bad, but the scenario is so implausible that you might feel sick of them by the end.
