A dramatic nature documentary on Earth Day, followed by a romantic comedy marking J-Lo’s return to the big screen after a hiatus and an action thriller with Avatar’s Zoe Saldana are set for US cinemas the week of April 22.

Oceans
Opening April 22, on the 40th anniversary of Earth Day, this ecological documentary features a cast of more than 90 marine life creatures from hammerhead sharks to blue whales. Shot in never-before-seen places, the meditative footage, narrated by Pierce Brosnan, informs of the endangered aquatic wonders. A second release by Disneynature, directed by Jacques Perrin and Jacques Cluzaud ( Winged Migration).?

The Back-Up Plan
Starring singer/actress Jennifer Lopez ( Maid in Manhattan, Gigli), this romantic comedy focuses on a woman who gives up hope on meeting Mr. Right and decides to become a mother. But her timing is off and a comedy of errors follows.

The Losers
This action-adventure based on a DC Comic follows a team of CIA commandos set up to be assassinated and left for dead. But they have another plan. Co-stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan ( Watchmen, Taking Woodstock), Zoe Saldana ( Avatar, Death at a Funeral) and Idris Elba ( RocknRolla, American Gangster) in a wild thrill ride.

Paper Man
An independent comedy with Jeff Daniels ( Away We Go, The Hours) portraying a has-been writer who strikes up a friendship with a teenager and an imaginary superhero buddy, Captain Excellent, played my Ryan Reynolds ( The Proposal, X-Men Origins). Also features Emma Stone ( Zombieland, Superbad).
