An array of genres hit the screen this weekend with films appealing to everyone from families to couples, packed with action, comedy, thrills, and horror.

Get Him to the Greek
Russell Brand reprises his role as British rocker Aldous Snow from Forgetting Sarah Marshall, as a record company intern must wrangle the out-of-control singer to a concert in L.A. Stars Jonah Hill ( Night at the Museum, Superbad), Rose Byrne ( Marie Antoinette), Sean Combs (aka P. Diddy), and comedian Aziz Ansari (host of MTV's Movie Awards), with cameos by Pink and Christina Aguilera. Directed by Nicholas Stoller ( Forgetting Sarah Marshall). Killers
Katherine Heigl ( 27 Dresses, Knocked Up) and Ashton Kutcher ( Valentine's Day) team up as newlyweds settling into suburbia, when his identity as an international super-spy is revealed as bullets suddenly fly. The latest romantic-comedy action-thriller in the same vein as the upcoming Knight & Day with Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz. Director Robert Luketic worked with Heigl and Gerard Butler in The Ugly Truth. Also known as Kill and Kill around the world, where it opens through July.

Marmaduke
A talking dog comedy with Marly & Me's Owen Wilson voicing the cartoon canine. Live action roles feature William H. Macy ( Fargo, Thank You for Smoking) and Lee Pace ( Pushing Daisies) along with animal voices by The Black Eyed Peas' Fergie and 24's Kiefer Sutherland. Splice
Oscar winner Adrien Brody ( The Pianist, Cadillac Records) and Sarah Polley ( Dawn of the Dead) play two genetic engineers whose questionable experiments combine human and animal DNA to make them scientific stars and risk unleashing a dire mistake. French actress Delphine Chaneac portrays the creature. Directed by Vincenzo Natali ( Cypher, Cube). The sci-fi horror thriller launches in several countries this month.

Ondine
This romantic fantasy stars Colin Farrell ( In Bruges, Crazy Heart) as an Irish fisherman who catches a beautiful woman in his net (Alicja Bachleda-Curus). This mythical tale shows a mermaid who meets reality as the past and present collide. Directed and written by Oscar-winner Neil Jordan ( Michael Collins, The Crying Game) and also featuring Stephen Rea ( V for Vendetta). The film is also available on VOD (Video on Demand).
