Risky business

WHY IS the Foreign Office putting out a disapproving line on the Britons kidnapped in Chechnya? Why are the press tut-tutting over men who "ignored" warnings? They took a dangerous, but legitimate, business risk, gambling with their own safety. Their gamble has not come off; but we should do all we can to rescue them, rather than wash our hands of their "mistake".
