Letter: Fairness in prison
Sir: The ruling of Mr Justice Latham that homosexual prisoners should be allowed condoms is a welcome health safeguard (report, 6 July). Now can we please allow conjugal visits by wives and girlfriends of heterosexual prisoners? How can we deny sexual relations for the innocent wives and girlfriends of the prisoners while sanctioning one of life's pleasures between convicted felons?
